ABSOLUTELY no progress. But on a happy note, the baby passed both her tests this week. She is comfy and cozy in there and doesn't seem to want to come out. Well, all I have to say is, Enjoy it because one week from now you will be here no matter what!"
Although I would love for her to come sooner, I have really been enjoying these last few weeks with my boy. Once the baby makes her appearance things will be forever changed (in a good way, of course). I feel blessed to have had Alex to myself all this time and if God wants me to have a few more days with just him, then who am I to argue?

Root...Root...Root For the Home Team
In the past two weeks, Alex has been to his first Ravens and Orioles games. Daddy, Drew and Pop Pop were in attendance. He said he had fun at the Ravens Game but "everything was too loud." He seemed to like the Oriole Game better. Eating cotton candy for dinner was a highlight at both games. He has a deep rooted phobia of mascots! Here are some pictures of his big outings with the Beynon guys!

A Night in Labor and Delivery...
But I didn't have the baby. Last night I was having contractions that were 4 minutes apart. The doctor said I should go to the hospital. Jay and I frantically got all of our bags together, and my mom came to stay with Alex. We got to labor and delivery and they hooked me up to the machines to see what was happening. I was having contractions that were 2-5 minutes apart. They thought that they were going to deliver the baby within the next two hours. Then they checked and I was only 1 centimeter dilated, so they decided to start an IV to see if I was dehydrated. Apparently dehydration can cause contractions. Who knew? After 4 hours the contractions slowed to a stop and there was no more progression, so they sent me home. So there we were at 3:30 am walking back out to our car with our bags, cameras and boppy pillow. Oh well - I guess she just wasn't ready yet. I have my last OB appointment Tuesday...maybe we will have some progress by then. In the meantime I have been drinking so much water, I am running to the bathroom every 5 minutes as opposed to the every 10 minutes I was going. It is worth it, because next time I go into Labor and Delivery, I want to come out holding my baby not my boppy!

Warning Post May Contain TMI, But Too Cute Not to Share!
Anyone who is a mother knows that as a mom there is no such thing as privacy. Alex is always right there...
That said, being pregnant I sometimes experience some incontinence. The other day I was in my room getting dressed after my shower, and Alex ran to my bathroom and opened the cabinet door. He said, "Momma, I'll get you a pantyliner!" Then he proceeded to pull one out of the box and hand it to me...Jay almost fell on the floor!

37 Weeks = Full Term
Well, I went to the doctor today again. I am 37 weeks today and the doctor said I am officially full term. The baby passed the biophysical and the NST. She is happy as can be in there. Dr. Asare examined me and NOTHING is happening so far. I am a little surprised because I have been feeling SO much pressure, but oh well.
We are taking Alex to see the Wiggles tonight. So Baby Girl, if you change your mind feel free to come out tomorrow!

Close Call
Yesterday, Alex wanted to write and mail a letter to his cousin, Jake. So he "wrote" a letter, and I addressed the envelope. I showed him where to put the stamp and the return label. Then we took it out to the mailbox. While we were outside, we heard thunder in the distance. He said, "Momma, we better get inside." So we walked back to the house. As I opened the front door, he looked up at me so seriously and said, "That was a close call!"
Where does he come up with this stuff?

Hiccups
How crazy is this? Tonight I was reading Alex books before bed, and both of my children - the one on my lap and the one in my belly - had hiccups at the same time.

Dentist and Doctor Visits
This week Alex went to the dentist for the first time. He was such a trooper. He let Dr. Marcus brush, floss, and polish his teeth. He was much braver than I ever am at the dentist.
Yesterday I went for my 36 week appointment. I had a growth ultrasound. The tech said that the baby is measuring about a week ahead of her due date. She thinks she is about 6 pounds 11 ounces. Everything looks good. It is just a waiting game now that I am officially 9 months pregnant!

Dani and Ryan's Wedding
House Update
Month 4 of Project Build Beynon is coming to an end. The siding is now all hung, the porch has been bricked (my poor dad and Herb can't stand up straight after laying 5000 brick pavers), and we have interior walls. The wiring and plumbing are just about done. Now all Jay and I have to do is finish picking out paint colors, pick out about 50 light fixtures, make the final decisions on our tile, as well as pick out lots of little things like mirrors, closet organizers, etc. AHHH! The question of the day is, "Will we get it all done before our baby girl makes her appearance in exactly one month from today (if not sooner)?"
July 21st - The front porch is a work in progress
July 22nd - Laying the brick pavers
July 23rd - Alex helping Pop with the porch
August 2nd - The brick on the porch is finished.
August 2nd - We have interior walls (the sunroom)
August 2nd - The Bonus Room
